Paul George’s alleged availability has been made public, and it appears that the Los Angeles Clippers are looking for trade partners.
The Knicks reportedly spoke with the Clippers about the 33-year-old wing, but it’s unclear whether Los Angeles would be open to trading George.

However, according to veteran NBA analyst Marc Stein, the Clippers have given clubs the idea that they are looking into George’s trade worth.

The Clippers made it known that they intended to retain George and Kawhi Leonard together after they were defeated by the Suns in the first round.
George had a season-high scoring average of 20.6 points and 6.4 rebounds while shooting 43.7% from the field. Despite being selected for his sixth All-Star game, he and his star teammate Kawhi Leonard have had trouble staying healthy in Los Angeles.
Despite being an eight-time All-Star, the 6-foot-8 George only has one year of his deal left, with a player option for 2024–25.

This season, Brunson assisted the Knicks in playing their most appealing brand of basketball since the 1970s (or at least that magical, month-long “Linsanity” time), but Randle was always there to put a kink in the works.
George makes about twice as much money as Randle, so a simple trade is impossible. The numbers would work, though, if the Knicks also waived Evan Fournier, who the franchise has been trying to get rid of for months.
Knicks forward Julius randle has confirmed a rumor that RJ Barrett went through a growth spurt this summer while on Paul George's podcast.
“He’s probably about 6’8 right now, I’m not even lying”
RJ was listed at 6’6 last season🤯

The unlikely Paul George trade is that one. Due to the current trend in NBA transactions, Randle and Fournier may also be acquired along with certain second-round selections.
Unfortunately for Knicks supporters, that probably won’t be sufficient to close the deal.
