Must Draft Wide Receivers In Fantasy Football

With the fantasy football season right around the corner, here are a couple of wide receivers you should look into drafting to your team, if you are interested in winning:

1.) Jaguars Calvin Ridley ADP WR20

Calvin Ridley was suspended from the NFL in 2022 due to a gambling situation, however since he has returned to the NFL field with the Jaguars, he has been going off in training camp. He looks bigger, faster and somehow has become a better route runner even though he was one of the best in the league during the 2021 season. This is going to be the best QB play of his career, Trevor Lawrence is for sure an improvement over Matt Ryan in most recent years, he is going to be an absolute league winner in the 2023 fantasy football season. With all of is upside it is criminal to think he is going as the WR20 behind Amari Cooper and Terry McLaurin.

2.). Bucs Mike Evans ADP WR34

Yes, Mike Evans has probably the worst QB room in the NFL. However, Evans is still one of the top red zone targets in the NFL and no matter how bad the QB play is, he will still be productive. Being the WR34 seems a bit it low given his red zone capabilities and i doubt he will finish any lower than the WR25. Chris Godwin is currently the WR27 in fantasy but I personally don’t see the value their compared to Mike Evans purely based on Evans being a premiere red zone threat.

3.) Steelers Diontae Johnson ADP WR33

The Steelers Wide receiver literally did not catch a single TD pass last year, but honestly, that just seems like bad luck to me . Johnson was not a bad WR, led the Steelers in receptions, super shifty, good route runner and is fast enough. A lot of people in the NFL community seem to think that George Pickens has taken over as the WR1 in Pittsburgh, but i can assure you this is not the case. Like i said, i still expect Johnson to be the WR1, and find himself in the back of the end zone multiple times as last year he was just extreme unlucky when it came to TDs. Do not pass on Johnson because the production upside is there with Kenny Pickett at QB in Pittsburgh.
