MLB Just Began And We Already Had The First Fight: Watch The Video

A person in attendance tweeted a video of a lady wearing a Padres shirt clashing with two Giants supporters on X. After giving the men a lewd gesture, the woman is seen smacking one of them and leaving.

That’s a great way to start the MLB fan battle slate for 2024. Beyond the male pushing a woman—which, in my opinion, is never acceptable—even if she did slap the living daylights out of him, this isn’t very outrageous. Still, it’s a respectable way to begin the year.

When the video concludes, it doesn’t seem like things got worse.

A San Diego Police Department spokesman stated that they had not heard of any incidents involving two men and a woman from Friday’s game.

Recall that this is baseball. It’s not a sprint; it’s a marathon. There are only so many football season moments when you get to witness fans go all in on one another, so you have to be at your best every week.

You HAVE to pace yourself when playing baseball. Of them, you have 162 games. You cannot be causing chaos every night outside. That just cannot be sustained.

Why is San Diego called Padres?

The Spanish word for “fathers” in the team’s name alludes to the Franciscan friars from Spain who established San Diego in 1769.

Have the San Diego Padres ever won a World Series?

The Tampa Bay Rays and the Padres are the only two Major League Baseball teams, as of 2023, to have won two league titles yet never taken home the World Series. Bruce Bochy was the only Padres player or manager to have been a member of every Padres postseason club until 2020.

Has San Diego ever been to the World Series?

1994 and 1998 saw San Diego make two trips to the World Series. Strangely enough, Bruce Bochy, the manager of the Rangers, managed the Padres during their 1998 defeat by the New York Yankees.
