Standing at 7 feet 1 inch, the former LSU Tiger was once regarded as the most imposing player to ever step foot on an NBA court. He used to impose his authority over the paint at will. The NBA now has 30 clubs, and each of them aspires to win several championships. But, you know, it’s easier said than done.

For the Los Angeles Lakers, that is. The storied NBA franchise shares the record for most NBA championships won in league history with the Boston Celtics. Obviously, it couldn’t have happened without some of the greatest players in history who wore the Los Angeles Lakers jersey.

There have been several players that have worn the Lakers uniform during the franchise’s history. Some of the greatest players ever include Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O’Neal, and more recently, LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

LeBron James is among the finest NBA players of all time, and for many people, he is the best ever. James has yet to solidify his place among the Lakers franchise’s GOATs, though. He will advance if he can take the team to another NBA Championship.
