Larsa Pippen and her breakup with Marcus Jordan, reasons for the split: Rewriting history for clout is not cute

Last month, Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan had a brief breakup but got back together a few days later. But when they stopped following one another on social media earlier this month, the couple sparked rumors that they were divorcing.

Some sources stated that Pippen wanted to forge a new career for herself, while others stated that they were just going in “different directions.”

“Larsa is now focused on her exciting next chapter,” he said. “She has always been someone who is ambitious and driven. She needs a partner who has similar qualities.”

However, Marcus retaliated against Larsa for “rewriting history” during their second breakup, and it seemed as though Michael Jordan’s son was criticizing her for trying to gain “clout” by claiming that Marcus wasn’t the right person to tell podcast hosts Amy Robach and TJ Holmes.

“I wasn’t born last night. Rewriting history for clout is not cute,” The 33-year-old Marcus posted a since-deleted Instagram story. “Funny how ppl change, just to be part of a conversation that’s irrelevant. Why give shorty a heart, when she’d rather have press? Ooooohhhhh, that’s that nerve lol.”

“I just think we’re on a different journey, you know? I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing and what he’s doing, you know? I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I don’t feel like it’s for me. I don’t think it’s the age,” she said.

“I just think it’s where we are right now. I think when you’re alone, you miss the person or you realise that maybe you’re not my guy, and I feel like that made me realise that I don’t think he’s my guy.

“My number one priority is my kids, my business, my show and being with someone I can grow with. If I’m not growing with you, we have to be in the same place so we can grow together. So that’s what I want.”
