Jason Kelce embraces wife Kylie as he embarks on new ventures following retirement from the Philadelphia Eagles

Jason Kelce, a former center for the Philadelphia Eagles, and his spouse Kylie, are currently enjoying their status as local legends.

Alongside his former teammate Fletcher Cox, the Super Bowl winner was present at the Philadelphia Phillies’ season-opening matchup against the Atlanta Braves on Saturday to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

In a tearful press conference held over a month ago on March 4, 13-year NFL veteran Kelce declared his retirement from the league.

He’s now getting used to his new life in Philadelphia as a celebrity.

Kelce took time to capture a beautiful moment with his wife before mounting the mound to throw the first ball in front of the Phillies’ sell-out crowd at Citizens Bank Park for their MLB season’s second game.

Wearing red, white, and blue Phillies attire for the event, the couple was beaming.

Despite claiming earlier in the week that he was battling with an arm issue and was unable to throw, Kelce nevertheless walked out and made the opening pitch.

The two made the first pitch at the same time, side by side with Cox.

But the two chose different approaches.

Kelce turned and unleashed a straight-line drive that sailed narrowly over the net.

Cox, meanwhile, took a different strategy, lofting the ball to home base with a much gentler, more cautious stroke of the bat.

Both pitches, in spite of their variances, were welcomed by the fans as they reached home plate.

Along with Cox’s wife Kaycee Marchette and a special visitor—the Phillies mascot, the Phillie Phanatic—Kylie witnessed her husband’s ceremonial first pitch.

The Kelce family was recognized on the mound, and then they watched the Phillies lose 12–4 and go down 0–2 in the standings.

Kelce hasn’t made any commitments yet about his possible media career.

ESPN reportedly “aggressively pursued” the former Eagles center to join their Monday Night football lineup, according to The Athletic.

For the time being, Kelce will keep releasing new episodes of his New Heights Show with Travis, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and his brother.
