Silvana Mojica and Dave Portnoy, the founders of Barstool Sports, appear to be parting ways.

After starting dating in 2021, the contentious media figure and the model and marketing specialist soon established themselves as regulars on each other’s numerous social media profiles.

However, when Mojica intimated that he had broken up with her in a tearful video message, his fans were eager to show their contempt for the businessman.

Outside of 2021, Silvana began dating Dave.

When Page Six exclusively disclosed that the two were becoming close on the dance floor of Miami hotspot Komodo in March 2021, the couple’s romance officially began.

Mojica appeared to corroborate that she was the unknown woman Portnoy had his arms wrapped around at the club’s VIP table when she shared a picture of him on her Instagram Story a few days later.

About who the stunning Colombian woman once dated, not much is known. As for Portnoy, he wed Renee Satterthwaite in 2009 and remained married until 2017.

She works in both modeling and marketing.

The brunette has continued to use her marketing degree even though Mojica has around 250,000 Instagram followers, which she uses for brand partnerships and sponsored posts.

Her knowledge has been put to good use as she has developed a prosperous career in communications since earning her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida State University in 2018.

Before starting her present position as a social media marketing assistant at Miami-based Giti Inc. more than three years ago, she had positions as an account executive and junior account manager, according to her LinkedIn page.

Mojica is also a brand ambassador for Fashion Nova, a massive fast-fashion company.

Regarding her connection with Dave, she has opened up a lot.

Over the course of the last 2.5 years, Mojica and Portnoy have made no secret of their romance, frequently posting photos of themselves together on social media and showing up in the backdrop of each other’s TikToks.

Additionally, they have appeared in public on a regular basis, most notably at the US Open in New York in the summer of 2023.

Mojica did, however, admit that it took them some time to get serious about one another.

“True story: when Dave first asked me to hang out I told him yeah but srry I’m busy for the next month and he said silvana.. I’m busy but nobody is that busy.. lmao here we are,” She wrote a message in the caption of an Instagram picture from 2021.

When the model posted about her birthday in March 2023, she referred to the media mogul as the “love of my life.”

The model posted an emotional TikTok the night before Thanksgiving 2023, which is when fans first became aware of the potential breakup.

She posted a video of herself sobbing as she sat on the bathroom floor, rummaging through love cards that she appeared to have bought for Portnoy. The caption read, “Imagine you buy these for someone and then get broken up with.”

“Angels couldn’t be everywhere, so they sent me you,” Written on a nice card.

People took to social media immediately to express their disappointment in the comments section, with one calling the news the “biggest heartbreak of the century.”

“Wait no you were the only reason I liked him,” one of her fans commented, while someone commented went like, “Well you were the only reason I held on to the Dave Portnoy fandom. That’s over now ❤️💕 you’re the best.”
