Investigation Against Ravens’ Zay Flowers Begins For Alleged Domestic Assault

Zay Flowers, a rookie wide receiver with the Baltimore Ravens, is reportedly being investigated for a possible domestic abuse, according to WJZ.

We are aware that the purported event occurred in Owings Mills shortly before to the AFC Championship game versus the Kansas City Chiefs on January 28.

There is no fee for Flowers. The inquiry is still underway.

“We take these matters seriously and will have no further comment at this time,” the Ravens said in a statement.

According to a Baltimore Banner story published on Thursday, the alleged attack happened in the Owings Mills, Maryland, region on January 21. Baltimore County Police and an Acton, Massachusetts police agency are both involved in the investigation.

Both organizations told the Banner that they had been informed about the alleged attack, but they would not elaborate.

Flowers, a Boston College player, was chosen by the Ravens with the 22nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Giants were also said to have considered Flowers during the previous draft season.

The rookie sensation made history in his debut NFL season as a Ravens receiver by setting team records for first-year receptions and receiving yards. He also scored six touchdowns.
