“I Got a Little Inside Scoop for You’- Chael Sonnen Might Just Know What’s Next for UFC Megastar Nate Diaz

MMA pundit Chael Sonnen often has some juicy insider scoops for fans to sink their teeth into and the former UFC title challenger is back with another doozy. ‘The American Gangster’ revealed that Nate Diaz has another fight set up already and is likely going to fight out his contract and walk away from the UFC.

Sonnen was upfront about the fact that he didn’t know who Nate Diaz’s opponent was in said fight booking, however, he mentioned the continued association shared between Nate Diaz and Khamzat Chimaev. ‘Borz’ has been Nate Diaz’s rumored opponent for a long-time now and fans wouldn’t be overly surprised if the UFC finally puts the fight together.

“I got a little inside scoop for you guys, which is Diaz has accepted a fight,” Sonnen said. “Diaz has a fight coming up. I gotta stop right there. I don’t know who the opponent is and I’m not holding that from you. And we know Chimaev and Nate have been associated together for a period of time now.”

Is Nate Diaz vs Khamzat Chimaev viable match-making?

According to many, Nate Diaz vs Khamzat Chimaev is a match-up that is meant to send Diaz off on a loss. Stylistically, ‘Borz’ can be a potential nightmare match-up for Stockton’s second son as he’s armed with all the tools to put together a standout showing on a massive scale.

Chimaev’s wrestling dominance has been a thing to marvel at and while Nate Diaz is no slouch on the mat, many fans believe that the strength differential will be overwhelmingly in Khamzat Chimaev’s favor.

Nate Diaz is focused on transitioning into the world of boxing and he’s been linked in a potential super fight with Jake Paul that is all but certain to crack over a million PPV buys at the box office, at a conservative estimate. It remains to be seen if he’s focused enough to make things happen when it’s all said and done.
