From the LSU hooper to Cameo in a music video with Latto and Cardi B, Angel Reese killing it all

Reese, 21, played a key role in LSU’s women’s basketball team that won the national title, has a spread in the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated, and now she has a cameo in the music video for Latto and Cardi B’s song “Put It On Da Floor Again,” which was just published early on Friday morning.

In the video, Reese makes an appearance when Cardi B raps,   “Put a ribbon on me, I been acting brand new, I ain’t smoking on no za’ lil’ bitch, I’m smoking on you, put your bestie in a pack and now I’m smoking her too, I been balling so damn hard coulda went to LSU.”

Reese is seen in the footage at that time standing in an aisle of a supermarket while donning glasses and gazing straight ahead.

In the music video, Reese also makes several additional fleeting appearances.

Soon after the music video was published, Reese tweeted, “I told y’all I wanted to be a video vixen.”

Angel Webb Reese, Reese’s mother, expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the photo shoot.


“So appreciative of our team (NIL manager, business manager, publicist & attorney) it takes all these folks to complete these deals. And not to mention the continued support that LSUwbb coaches & staff have given us,” Reese’s mother tweeted.

Since winning the national title, Reese has witnessed a massive increase in her NIL deals and an increase in her Instagram following to over two million.

During her SI Swimsuit shoot, Reese declared, “I am unapologetically Angel.” “I am a queen. I am confident. I am strong. I am who I am.

“The biggest takeaway I want people to know is you can be girly off the court and still have swag and just be who you are. I mean, I embrace my body and who I am and on the court I can still ball. I am 6’3″, I work out a lot so why not show it? I got a nice little body. When I go to the beach or go to the pool and everybody’s looking, it’s like, ‘damn, you sexy girl.’”
