Former Dallas Mavericks Star Has Reserved Massive Praise for Luka Doncic Amidst Mavericks Struggles
Luka Doncic is a unique talent for the Dallas Mavericks, and he has guided them to a number of significant triumphs. The squad, according to former NBA player Chandler Parsons, would be lost without the Slovenian. With Doncic scoring a 40-point triple-double, Dallas defeated the reigning champion Golden State Warriors in an amazing victory.
While some argue whether Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic should be named to the First Team All-NBA this season or where on the MVP ladder, Chandler Parsons is adamant that Doncic is the greatest player in the game.
As both Luka Doncic and Steph Curry dominated for his sides, it was a display of the world’s best athletes. Despite having other players, the Mavs mostly rely on Doncic to lead their attack. Shams Charania emphasized that on FanDuel TV. How can the team control egos and include everyone more? he questioned Parsons.
Chandler Parsons says Luka Doncic is carrying Mavericks
The recently departed former Mavericks forward gave Doncic some really high praise, and at this particular moment in time, he might not be incorrect either.
Here’s what Parsons said: “Everybody in that roster, that organization knows Luka is the guy. They know most nights it’s gonna be him. But also, J Kidd, I guarantee you is telling these other guys, Doe Doe, Green, Dinwiddie, there’s gonna be times when these guys have to take over, have to be ready. I never want to speak injury or anything like that into existence but this team would be so lost without this guy. And at this usage rate, I think it’s impossible to sustain. These guys are gonna have their numbers called, they’re gonna have their opportunity. And they can’t be salty, they can’t be ego-driven to, “Why is Luka getting all the stuff?”
“This team would be so lost without this guy… they know he’s a top 3 player in the NBA so they just gotta be ready when their number is called…”@ChandlerParsons on Luka Doncic and the Mavs on #RunItBack with @ShamsCharania @MichelleDBeadle @bansky pic.twitter.com/OxOQTQiyBi

“Because they know he’s the guy. They know he’s a top-three player in the NBA. They just got to be ready when their number is called. And Luka is gotta keep doing a good job getting them involved and keeping them involved. But it’s tough to watch one guy dribble the era of the ball all game long, all season long, especially when you’re a .500 team.”
Luka Doncic is in the lead for the MVP award with his club sitting 11th in the Western Conference standings, and there is still plenty of basketball still to be played in the 2022–23 season. However, Parsons thinks that if Doncic can maintain his diet and exercise routine, his potential would be much greater than it is today.
