And now he will be receiving a bit of extra assistance. After signing free agent safety DeShon Elliott, the Lions selected Kerby Joseph out of Illinois in the third round. Defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn commended Walker and Elliott, the team’s new safety pair, after their initial performances earlier this week.
