Halftime shows in the NFL have become a status symbol. Being able to star in a halftime show has become an extremely prestigious thing for artists all over the world, and as the popularity of the NFL increases, it only makes it all the more prestigious. Halftime shows are a major point of discussion of any Super Bowl. Having NFL games on Thanksgiving was a tradition started by Detroit Lions owner George Richards who placed games on Thanksgiving day in order to increase footfall in his stadium. This has now become an unsaid tradition where both the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys play on Thanksgiving day.
Fans destroy the Detroit Lions and Bebe Rexha
To commemorate this occasion, the Detroit Lions and the Cowboys organized special halftime shows for their fans. While the Cowboys opted for the Jonas brothers, the Lions secured the services of Bebe Rexha. Unfortunately for the Detroit Lions, the Bebe Rexha performance did not go down well with the viewers. Unfortunately for the Lions, their performance on field was nothing to write home about either. Although they did put up a fight against one of the best teams in the league, ultimately, they have lost yet another game and are now 4-7 so far this season.
