Deebo Samuel & Micah Parsons Get Into Instagram Feud Post 49ers’ Playoff Win

Following the Cowboys’ 19-12 divisional playoff loss in Santa Clara on Sunday night, Micah Parsons had some harsh words for 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel.

Parsons was quick to respond to Samuel over a celebratory Instagram post, captioned “Don’t Poke the Bear,” that included a blatant reference to the Cowboys’ star pass rusher among its five slides. When meeting the 49ers again after losing to them in Dallas in the wild-card round of last season, Parsons himself recently said, “This is who I wanted,” according to the slide with his photo.

Parsons delivered a half-hearted congratulations and a dig at the wideout’s performance, obviously unamused by the post or Samuel’s barb.

“Lol what did you do today fam lol ?! But congrats on the win ! But don’t put me in this weak ass slide,” Parsons wrote in the comment section.

To prove Parsons’s point, Samuel, who is notorious for his explosiveness, had only four receptions for 45 yards and four carries for 11 yards against the Cowboys. Although Samuel may not have had the individual stats in the victory to back up his insults, the explosive wideout would almost certainly accept that result if it meant his team would continue to play in the postseason.

The Cowboys and Parsons’ performance on Sunday turned out to be their final one because the effort on both sides of the ball wasn’t sufficient to win the game. Parsons recorded four tackles, one pass deflection, and a QB hit in the loss. The Niners, who will advance to their third NFC championship game in four years, and Samuel, who has yet to answer to Parsons, emerged triumphant in the meanwhile.

The last time the Cowboys reached the NFC Championship was 27 years ago, when they beat Brett Favre’s Green Bay Packers and went on to win Super Bowl XXX over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With their popcorn in hand, viewers jumped into the drama with their own comments, with many Niners supporters praising player #19.

Deebo hasn’t responded to the criticism, but we assume he’s preoccupied with getting ready for the Eagles game the following Sunday.

The NFC Championship game between the 49ers and top-seeded Philadelphia Eagles will now take place on Sunday at 3 p.m. San Francisco was defeated by the Los Angeles Rams in the game last year. The Rams scored the final 13 points to defeat the Bengals and win the game, despite the 49ers holding a 17-7 lead going into the fourth quarter.
