Cowboys Micah Parsons Is Giving Heads Up The NFL Teams: “the lion never flinches”

Micah Parsons, a standout for the Dallas Cowboys, has made an impact since he entered the game two years ago. He has also made noise and has no intention of altering that.

We may propose the following statement also pertains to why Micah loves talking so much, on Twitter and in interviews. This week, Micah claimed he appreciates having all eyes on him on the field. Oh, and he naturally used his beloved “lion” analogy.

“If you go to a safari, you see buses pull up on lions, and the lion never flinches,” Parsons said Tuesday, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “Why? Because they’re king. They’re not going to flinch. Please come visit, you’re more than welcome. I’m OK with feeling uncomfortable. That’s how you evolve.”

Since the Cowboys chose Parsons with the 12th overall pick in the 2021 selection, he has swiftly established himself as one of the top defensive players in the NFL. In 33 regular-season games throughout the course of his career, he has 149 tackles, 33 tackles for loss, 26.5 sacks, and six forced fumbles. In each of his first two seasons, he received first-team All-Pro honors and a Pro Bowl invitation.

Parsons, who weighs 248 pounds at the moment, wants to go up to about 255 pounds. The bulk of the weight-gain is expected to occur during the forthcoming training camp, which begins on July 26. He was classified as weighing 245 pounds last season, so his weight loss demonstrates his dedication to improving his skills.

Parsons has upgraded his home gym and even included a sauna for optimum recuperation in order to attain his goals. To prevent any lingering injuries, the emphasis is on strengthening joints, knees, and shoulders. He’s committed to maintaining his health and ensuring consistency in his on-field performance.

“It’s about stability,” Parsons said. “Strengthening joints, strengthening the knees, shoulders, so all the nagging injuries don’t come across. Especially in the groin. I’m trying to stay as healthy as possible.”
