Court Orders Antonio Brown To Pay $1.2 Million To The Truck Driver He Assaulted

When Anton Tumanov attempted to deliver some items to Antonio Brown’s home in Broward County, Florida, roughly three years ago, Brown allegedly attacked him and refused to pay for his services. Tumanov then filed a lawsuit against Brown.

Following Antonio Brown’s failure to reply or appear at his hearings in the case, a jury in Broward County has now awarded Tumanov $1.2 million, according to court documents.

Despite the incident happening on February 11, 2020, the lawsuit wasn’t presented up until May 2021 by Jeffrey R. Davis of Jeffrey R. Davis P.A. and Michael Lotto of the Ward Law Group.

According to Broward County court records, Brown failed to appear at any hearings or reply in the assault case against Anton Tumanov, and a jury determined that Tumanov should get damages. Tumanov was granted 792,959.20 in damages for pain and suffering in addition to past and future medical costs of $407,040.80

According to the documents, Tumanov and Brown had a disagreement about who should be paid for delivering something to Brown’s home. Tumanov asserted that Brown struck him repeatedly, causing “serious bodily injuries,” for which the police were summoned.

Antonio Brown was hit with three accusations, but in June 2020, he reached an agreement with the prosecution. To get the charges dismissed, he consented to probation, community service, anger management classes, and other requirements.

A recent incident took place in Dubai, where a video of him completely nude at a hotel pool went viral. According to The New York Post, who got the video, the incident happened on May 14, and Brown was ejected from the hotel as a result.

Later, Antonio Brown referred to the report as “disinformation.”

“Every opportunity [the NFL] gets to deflect attention away from itself, they use me,” he claimed. “She can be seen running off with my swimsuit in the footage.” The headlines would read, “AB spending a wild night with a nude female,” if the genders were reversed. However, when it’s me, it immediately qualifies as a hate crime.”
