Clippers’ Russell Westbrook Engages In An Altercation With Suns Fan: ‘watch your mouth’

Westbrook saw the irate Suns fan at the Phoenix-LA game’s intermission. The All-Star angrily approached the spectator for a verbal duel as he seemed to be trolling Westbrook.

The Clippers guard Russell Westbrook has caused the most controversy of the day when the seasoned All-Star was filmed cursing and swearing at a fan in front of the supporter’s child.

“Watch your mouth, motherf**ker, watch your mouth,” shouted Westbrook. A Suns security member wedged himself between the two men.

Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report stated on Monday afternoon that the NBA would now begin an inquiry into this fan-player contact.

“The league is looking into Russell’s exchange with a Suns’ fan at halftime in the club area that’s used by some players and coaches as a shortcut to locker room and arena bowl”

Westbrook recorded nine points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists in the Clippers’ five-point victory over Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns in his first postseason game with the organisation.

“Westbrook’s performance versus Phoenix wasn’t very impressive in terms of stats. He finished with nine points on 3-of-19 shooting, ten rebounds, and eight assists. However, the Clippers prevailed 115-110.

Following Tuesday’s Game 2, which will take place in Phoenix, Westbrook’s antics off the court might be the difference in tying the series.

Suns supporters will undoubtedly try to irritate Westbrook after Sunday’s halftime altercation.
