Christen Harper dazzles at NFL draft; Lions fans cheer Jared Goff
On Thursday night, Jared Goff and his fiancée Christen Harper participated in the NFL draft.
Harper revealed to her Instagram followers what she will be wearing to the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit: a small black dress and a purse in the shape of a heart.
The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model shared on Instagram Stories, saying, “Draft day!”
Later that evening, Goff took the stage in Detroit with a few of his Lions colleagues before the first round of the playoffs officially began. Goff and Harper are scheduled to get married this summer after being engaged in June 2022.
As soon as he stepped onto the podium, recently extended Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown led the Detroit fans in an electrifying Goff chant.
Eminem, a superfan from Detroit, and Aidan Hutchinson, a defensive end for the Lions, joined in on the fun.

Prior to a sensational January 2021 trade that moved him to Detroit as part of a quarterback swap with then-Lions star Matthew Stafford, Goff—the first overall choice by the Rams in the 2016 NFL Draft—spent the first five years of his career in Los Angeles.
While the Lions, under first-year coach Dan Campbell, had a dismal start to the season with a 3-13-1 record, Stafford guided the Rams to a Super Bowl victory in 2021.
Goff and the Lions are heading into their fourth season together, hoping to build on a 12-5 season in 2023 that included the team’s first division title in 30 years and a trip to the NFC Championship game.

In the offseason, Goff and Detroit are anticipated to hold contract extension discussions, according to a report from NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport in late January. If a deal is reached, Goff would likely become one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL.
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old Goff and Harper are getting ready for their impending marriage, which the model is handling.

“She’s been doing a great job with it. I’ve been fairly uninvolved… but I’ll give my input when asked,” But there is one aspect of planning that Goff particularly enjoys doing. “But she’s done a really good job of getting everything ready for the wedding and the day-to-day. There’s tasks for her to handle kind of every day.”
“The food, the drinks, the music and all that is the fun stuff,” he said. “I’ve definitely been a part of that.”
