Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ Father Sends Joe Burrow A Message: “I’m smoking on that Joe Burrow”

There was no shortage of trash-talking before to the AFC Championship game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs. However, this was primarily from the visitors, as Cincinnati players began referring to Arrowhead Stadium as “Burrowhead” instead because, up until Sunday, quarterback Joe Burrow had never lost there, putting Mahomes in a tough spot!

Harrison Butker’s game-winning field goal helped Mahomes and the Chiefs win on Sunday after the star quarterback received a 15-yard penalty from Joseph Ossai for pushing Mahomes after he had left the field. This gave Butker the perfect opportunity to perform what he does best in KC.

Burrow, on the other hand, had a game that was by no means good. The 26-year-old quarterback threw two interceptions while being sacked five times. He was frightened all night long by Chris Jones. Clearly, Arrowhead is no longer “Burrowhead.”

As we all know, the Chiefs prevailed, and Patrick Mahomes’ father enjoyed the victory as well. He was spotted smoking a cigarette after his son lead the team to yet another Super Bowl victory. The senior Mahomes attacked Burrow mercilessly when he was questioned about the brand of the cigar he was puffing.

Smoking that Joe Burrow pack. Priceless. Mahomes’ father was a former athlete who spent some time pitching in the MLB in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Baseball enthusiasts are aware of Pat Mahomes. Mahomes pitched in the major leagues for 11 years. He played for teams like the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, and Pittsburgh Pirates. He also played for the Yokohama BayStars for one season in the Japanese league.

He retired on September 27, 2003 with the Pirates.

Jackson, a social media influencer, and Patrick, the quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, are Mahomes’ two sons.

I’m smoking on that Joe Burrow, Pat said to the reporter as he was being interviewed during the on-field celebration.

In response to numerous Bengals players’ trash-talking before the game, some Chiefs supporters made fun of them.

The Chiefs will now face the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl on February 12 in Arizona as Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts square off. The two quarterbacks, who together are only 51 years old, will compete in the big game as the first black quarterbacks.
