The 27-year-old quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs has invested $8 million in four different houses.
One is a vacant lot in Missouri, one is a home in Missouri, and the third—possibly his most valuable—is a mansion in Texas.
But if he continues at this rate, there is no disputing that this is just the beginning of his real estate investments. He has enough money to do it, too.
Mahomes committed to a $503 million, 10-year deal with chiefs in August 2020.
Kansas City, Missouri — $350,000 condo
Mahomes spent $125,000 less than the asking price for a two-bedroom, three-bathroom condo in Kansas City that he bought in December 2017.
Mahomes was able to purchase the 1,800 square foot property for $350,000, even though it was initially advertised at $475,000 It is thought to be valued around $500,000 right now.
In 2019, Mahomes briefly put the house up for sale, but he later took it down.
It is the only apartment with a top roof deck and a two-car garage, and it is referred to as the “nicest condo in the building for the best price.”
There are California closets in the bedrooms, woodburning fireplaces in the living room, and granite countertops in the kitchen.
High ceilings and a wet bar may also be found in the main living area.
Kansas City, Missouri — $1.8 million main house
Mahomes spent $1.8 million on a three-bedroom, four-bathroom property in Kansas City in January 2019.
The building is about 4,300 square feet in size and sits on 1.4 acres of ground.
The house, which is referred to as a “modern ranch,” has soaring ceilings, a chef’s kitchen that opens up to the family area, an office, and an exercise room.
1,250 square feet are devoted to the main bedroom alone.
There is a screened porch, a rose garden, a hot tub, and a pool outside.
According to property records, this house, which was built in 1953, has undergone nearly $500,000 worth of renovations.
The house is currently thought to be valued $2.23 million.
The listing was held by Compass employees Tom Suther and Kevin D. Bryant.
Enormous farmhouse – $2.3 Million Dollars
Mahomes made his first significant purchase in 2019, spending almost $3 million to buy the gorgeous home pictured above in Kansas City. It has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, is over 4,300 square feet large, and sits on 1.4 acres.
This mansion is referred to as a contemporary ranch property, much to Deion Sanders’ farmhouse in Mississippi, and Mahomes’ master bedroom is reportedly HUGE. Really, it’s only about 1,250 square feet!
The estate, which is currently valued at over $2.3 million, also has a rose garden, a pool, a hot tub, and a screened-in porch for when Patrick needs to unwind.
Arrowhead Stadium is a mere 20-minute drive away as well.
Belton, Missouri — $400,000 vacant land
Mahomes bought an 8-acre piece of unoccupied land in Belton, Missouri, in September 2020 through a private LLC. Belton is located about 30 minutes from Kansas City.
Although it’s unknown what he ultimately paid, the house was last advertised for $400,000, so that’s still a significant difference. Although it’s likely that Mahomes spent less than the asking price given his history of making good deals.
On the property, Mahomes erected a new house a year later, in 2021. He installed a pool in 2022, according to land documents.
The estate is currently valued over $1 million.
The listing was handled by Ashlea Black and Dale Brouk of Loch Lloyd Residential Real Estate.
Westlake, Texas — $3.37 million main house
A four-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion in Texas that belonged to the late Andrew Gissinger III, a former professional football player for the San Diego Chargers who later rose to the position of president and Chief Operating Officer of Countrywide Home Loans, was purchased by Mahomes from his estate for a significant sum. Gissinger oversaw a private equity firm as well.
Mahomes was able to purchase it in March 2020 for $3.37 million, which is $890,000 less than the asking price of $4.26 million.
During the off-season, Mahomes occupies this residence. The quarterback was bred in Texas, played football and baseball at Texas Tech University, and guided his squad to five straight AFC Championship Games.

The house is situated in the affluent Westlake neighbourhood and was only constructed in 2014. The house has been called a “entertainer’s fantasy” since it has unrestricted views of the Vaquero golf course. A floating staircase, a wine room, and a two-story entrance are among the features. The private loft is accessible from the private study via a spiral staircase.
The main suite, meanwhile, has a walk-through shower, a dressing area, and a spa bath with an infinity edge. It also has panoramic views. There are two sizable kitchen islands with marble tops and room for 12 people to sit at the breakfast bar.
The family area, which is almost 7,800 square feet in size and has patio doors leading outside, has a gas fireplace. In addition, there are a game room, a wet bar, and an expansive balcony — and an outdoor grill, a pool, a spa and a fire pit, the previous listing notes.
It is estimated to be worth around $5.5 million today.
Kelly Marcontell and Susan Gilchrest with Ebby Halliday Realtors held the listing.
