Chargers Fan Merianne Do Is Getting Viral For Her Reaction Of Losing To Cowboys

Merrianne Do, a supporter of the Los Angeles Chargers, made headlines on Monday night.

During the ups and downs of the tight game, which eventually resulted in heartache for everyone wearing blue and yellow, the fan’s impassioned responses caused ESPN’s cameras to cut to her repeatedly.

Her emotional responses to many plays throughout the game were caught on camera, and she soon gained popularity. Social media users speculated that she was a “plant” owing to her extreme reactions.

Accusations that she was an actress or fan-for-hire hired by the league followed this attention. When the Chargers played the Miami Dolphins last month, AI robots were seen in the crowd. Do was thought to be a similar aberration.

She and her husband, Tuan Pham, have season tickets and frequently reserve on-field cabana suites. To refute the notion that she was a hired actress playing the part of an ardent fan of the club, they requested the team’s director of premium seats reveal their identity.

It’s not apparent why the Chargers aren’t being named in other reports of this. It is not confidential. Before posting, we checked. Do and Pham wished for the Chargers to spread the message, which they have done.

She then appeared on the Pat McAfee Show, where she insisted that her love for the Chargers is genuine. Social media, though, resisted.

“I wish I was getting paid,” Do said. “I wish I could make myself AI and as beautiful as I want, but at the end of the day, this is me, guys. This is me, a crazy mom of four. Crazy Chargers fan. Crazy freaking football fan. It is what it is, so I’m not offended.”

She reportedly attends so many Chargers games that she is accustomed to appearing on the jumbotron at SoFi Stadium but has never been on television. She said that text messages or a player on the field informing her she was all over the broadcast couldn’t divert her attention from the game. When she arrived home to tuck them in, her kids pointed it out, which she said she ignored.

She also made it obvious that she will not soon give up on her Chargers.

“Everyone’s like, ‘How do you still believe in your Chargers?’ I’m like, do you lose faith in your spouse when they fail? Do you lose faith in your kids when they fail? I’m not going to lose faith in my Chargers when they make a mistake,” she told McAfee.
