The New York Yankees were the eventual winners. Fans were thrilled and enthusiastic about the team’s $162 million contract with Rodon over the following six seasons.

Carlos Rodon’s Wife Refers To A Report About Her Husband’s Back Injury As “Bullshit.”

A rather “reliable source” provided a report on Carlos Rodon’s injury status for the Yankees this year.

Carlos Rodon was just expected to serve as some backup and ensure that the Yankees maintained their position at the top of the standings after ending the 2022 season as one of the greatest teams in the AL.

After sustaining a forearm strain in spring training in April, Rodon has yet to pitch for the Yankees, but a stiff back has slowed down his ability to perform any throwing, which can be a particularly tough issue.

According to his doctors, Rodon’s back problems are a “chronic thing,” he claimed.

The situation deteriorated, though, throughout spring training. What started as “minor back issues” has developed into a month-long enigma over Rodon’s whereabouts.

A tweet referencing a story from Jomboy’s “Talkin Yanks” podcast on Monday that said unnamed sources inside the Yankees’ organization urged him not to get optimistic about the left-handed pitcher participating in a game this season received the reply “bulls—t” from Rodon’s wife Ashley.

Rodon will reportedly get a cortisone-like injection this week, according to the current plan.

Although he hasn’t yet assisted the Yankees on the field this year, he completed last year 14-8 with a 2.88 ERA.

With the births of their daughter Willow in 2019 and their son Bo in 2021, Ashley and Carlos have been married since 2018 and have three children total.
