Can Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns still make the playoffs in the 2022-23 NFL season?
The Cleveland Browns earned their sixth victory of the 2022-23 NFL season in Week 15 after beating the Baltimore Ravens 13-3. Although they moved to 6-8, their chances of making it to the postseason are still very slim as they sit in 3rd place in the NFC North.
According to reports from the New York Times, the Browns have less than a 1% chance of making it to the playoffs. Although they are still not officially out of the postseason, Cleveland will have to rely on other results as well as win all their remaining three games to stand a chance of making it to the next round.

In their division, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Ravens have nine wins each, so qualifying in the top two is almost out of the question. More so, other teams in wild card entries in other divisions have winning records at the moment. Nonetheless, Watson and the Browns can still push to win their three remaining regular season games.

Following their win against the Baltimore Ravens, the Browns will now host the New Orleans Saints in Week 16. They will then make a trip to face the Washington Commanders in Week 17. The Browns will finish off their regular season with a home gain against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18.

Kevin Stefanski may not be able to get his team to the playoffs this season, but he will get a good assessment of who he wants to keep for next season. He will also have Deshaun Watson available from Week 1 next season, barring any more suspensions coming the way of the quarterback.
