After an incredible collegiate career at Iowa, Caitlin Clark was always going to be the first overall choice in the 2024 WNBA Draft. There was substantial debate as to who would finish second overall behind her, but Cameron Brink was widely thought to be the winner.

The two athletes never played against one another on the court, even though they both played four full seasons in college. But the first battle of their legacies will be fought on Friday night. And they both arrived in elegance.

Caitlin accessorized her outfit with a bomber jacket bearing the Nike logo over a short black dress, and white and yellow sneakers. Brink’s ensemble was a little more outrageous, with her clothes being described as a “hodgepodge” of various items. She thanked her mother and revealed that she had borrowed the purse and jacket from her.

At the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, where the Sparks will host the Indiana Fever, Clark and Brink will square off. Despite Clark’s impressive early performance, the Fever have lost their first five games. With the Sparks having lost their first three games, Brink has stopped nine shots in her last two outings.
