Brooklyn Nets Owner Joe Tsai Still Unwilling to Let Go of Kyrie Irving’s Scandal
Even if things may have improved, Kyrie Irving is still having to cope with all of the problems in the world. The man apologized, but many others have not accepted his forgiveness, especially the Brooklyn Nets owner. The man had to keep his break from the game as a result. Many people in the NBA, both players, and fans have questioned why he has been forced to sit out for so long. But until lately, there wasn’t much of a reaction.
Despite a supposedly fruitful meeting with Nets owners Joe and Clara Tsai on Thursday, it doesn’t seem like Kyrie Irving will be making a comeback during Brooklyn’s next four-game road trip.
Joe Tsai talks about Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving
“Clara and I met with Kyrie and his family yesterday,” Nets owner Joe Tsai tweeted Friday. “We spent quality time to understand each other and it’s clear to me that Kyrie does not have any beliefs of hate towards Jewish people or any group.”

That may seem a little bit harsh against the player, to be honest. It isn’t absurd, but at the same time, it isn’t either. Tsai and the Nets have a reputation for treating their players fairly, almost to a fault, up until very recently. We don’t believe he will want to rub it in now that the players must demonstrate something to him.

On Saturday against the Clippers, the Nets will start their road trip. After that, Irving will officially have missed five games and will be qualified to play against the Lakers on Sunday. However, Irving won’t be available for Sunday’s game against the Lakers, according to Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn’s statement on Saturday afternoon.
