Broncos QB Russell Wilson Shows The Reason Behind His Weight Loss, Posts His Rigorous Workout Routine

The Denver Broncos are experiencing a season of fresh starts, and that includes star quarterback Russell Wilson.

Wilson is hoping to recover under new head coach Sean Payton after a terrible debut season with the team that includes a 5-12 record and a last-place finish in the AFC West.

Russell Wilson, the quarterback for the Denver Broncos, has significantly changed physically over the previous campaign.

Recent criticism of Russell from Seattle Seahawks family members includes an unexpected statement from 2022 rookie defender Tariq Woolen. After competing against the now-Denver Broncos cornerback, Woolen compared the quarterback’s build to “a sack of potatoes.”

Wilson experienced “significant” weight loss throughout the offseason, according to Schultz. Last month, Wilson acknowledged his own metamorphosis, calling himself “lean and mean” and said he was ready for the new season.

With Sean Payton as the head coach, the 34-year-old is eager to put together a much stronger 2023 season.

Wilson has been working out a lot in the off-season, and on Saturday he uploaded a video of his aerobic activities.

The quarterback shared a video of his offseason workout routine on Saturday, starting with a very well-known side-to-side motion exercise.

If Wilson’s gliding exercise looks familiar at all, it’s because Tony Perkis (Ben Stiller) employed it as part of his Perkis System fitness regimen in the movie Heavyweights.

In the film, Perkis has the Camp Hope campers climb on the slide boards and glide beside him as they struggle with the odd-looking workout.

Following the release of his exercise video, a number of fans criticized Russell Wilson online.

They questioned why he was practicing routines that NHL players who must slip on ice typically perform.

“Why is he training for the NHL?” asked one fan.

“Russell Wilson thinking ahead to when the NFL inevitably incorporates ice skates into the game of football is next level genius,” added another, sarcastically.

Well, people criticise for everything. Fans didn’t like him overweight. Now that the has worked so hard to get it down so people started mocking his workout! I think people just dislike Broncos QB a lot, no matter what he does he gets slammed for it! The subway commercial is still  vivid is my memories.
