During a recent Instagram Q&A, Brittany Matthews was frank about her experience of living in the spotlight and Patrick Mahomes’ amusing sleep routine.

The co-owner of KC Current, who wed Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in March 2022 after his team won the Super Bowl, discussed how life has altered as a result of Mahomes’ success.

When repeatedly asked whether she could go out and shop for groceries like “regular” people do, Matthews responded, “I can by myself. But with Patrick we have to make special arrangements anywhere we go.”

Actually, neither member of the couple shops for groceries alone.

“Our chef does it for us now…,” She would buy too much food, Matthews continued, calling herself “nuts” when she went grocery shopping.

The fitness business owner noted that she only shops online for clothing.

And Mahomes’ amusing behavior?

Apparently, Matthews “eats Doritos every night in bed.”

The 28-year-old influencer continued by outlining the stability she and Mahomes have provided for their family as well as the key life lesson she has gained from being in the public eye.

“That the world is wiiiiiiild,” she wrote.

The notion of making a reality program with her family was rejected by Matthews, who has been candid about her experiences with online trolls and cyberbullying.

“Nope not ever,” she said.

Mahomes and Matthews, along with Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins and former Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota (now with the Eagles), were featured in Netflix’s “Quarterback,” which followed her and the Chiefs quarterback both on and off the field throughout the whole 2022 NFL season.

Matthews, who has a 2-year-old daughter named Sterling and a 10-month-old son named Bronze with Mahomes, also listed her favorite NFL venues.

“Arizona and San Fran have been the top two that are so helpful and accommodating,” she wrote.

Their daughter Sterling served as the flower girl for the couple’s private wedding in Hawaii in March 2022, when they exchanged vows as high school sweethearts.
