Brett Favre Is Indebted with Welfare Money of 600K Dollars

Brett Favre hasn’t paid back to the state of Mississippi.

In the name of speaking events the former NFL player, Brett Favre acquired money from the state of Mississippi. Neither he appeared in the events nor he paid back the amount. Currently, he owes around $600K to the state and there is not a single sign that he will be repaying it soon.

Brett Favre accepted around $1.1mn for speaking on events on which he never appeared. The money was ‘Welfare Money’ which is very important for a state like Mississippi – one of the poorest states in the United States.
On Tuesday, it was confirmed by a state auditor that Brett Favre has made a payment of $500K to date. He also voluntarily committed that he will pay the remaining $600K in near future.

I never expected such misbehaviour from a former sports star while the state being soft-hearted never accused Brett Favre of any allegations. The state believes that Favre doesn’t know what the money was for whereas it is a fact that he took a large amount from the state while he has nothing to show in terms of where the money has been spent. Time is hard for all of us in one way or another but it seems Brett Favre is having the hardest that he needed so much money.

While one more important thing to notice here is, there are more names on the bad debts list and Brett Favre is the only person who repaid any amount to the state. Well, that sounds good about the NFL player but that too can’t make it more digesting state’s money. No no not just money but big money. Just because the investigation is going on you are a safe boy but once they are done they will come for you and along with them I will also be coming for my next blog posts.
