Kamilla Cardoso has had a fantastic year in 2024. She first helped South Carolina win the National Championship. The Chicago Sky then selected her third overall in the WNBA Draft.

At the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup in Puerto Rico in 2021, Cardoso played on the Brazilian team. Her squad won the bronze medal thanks to her average of 9.9 points and eight rebounds per game. During the 2022 South American Basketball Championship in Argentina, Cardoso took home a gold medal and the MVP award. Over the course of the competition, she averaged 14.8 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks.

At the 2023 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup in Mexico, Cardoso led Brazil to victory. She averaged 10.9 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while winning tournament MVP honors. In the championship game, she led the United States to a 69-58 victory with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
