Christian McCaffrey’s diving touchdown catch late in the first half of “Monday Night Football” between the 49ers and Ravens on Christmas Day helped a bettor win about $500,000. The betting slip, revealed prior to “MNF,” was a $5 wager on a 14-leg touchdown parlay; McCaffrey would win after each of the first 13 legs connected.

Before the game, DraftKings Sportsbook tweeted about the betting slip, stating, “A CMC TOUCHDOWN AWAY FROM $489K.” With many intrigued eyes watching, McCaffrey delivered with 3:23 remaining in the second quarter.

In total, the bettor gained $489,378.01 and spent $5. In other words, the wager was settled at odds of about 100,000 to 1. In a social media video, the bettor identified himself as Travis Dufner.

Before the game started, Dufner stated in the video, “I’ve put plenty of these parlays down before.” I’ve hit a few small ones but obviously nothing like this.”

Dufner is a financial advisor in New Jersey, according to LinkedIn.
