Atlanta Falcons’ Kyle Pitts Fantasy: TE NFL Data & Stats Speculations 2022

Player Outlook

When Kyle Pitts’ name was called at the 2021 NFL Draft, expectations were high. After the Atlanta Falcons selected him with the fourth overall choice, he became the highest-drafted tight end ever.

Atlanta finished third in the NFC South with a 7-10 record during the 2021 campaign. The Falcons will be looking for their second-year tight end to make another leap in 2022 with a new quarterback at the helm.

In terms of yards, targets, yards per reception, yards per route run, the average depth of the target, and explosive play rate, Pitts ended his rookie season no worse than fifth among tight ends in his position. Pitts is, therefore, a strong candidate to be one of the top three fantasy tight ends.

Pitts was the first rookie tight end to be selected for the Pro Bowl in 20 years, which was the cherry on top. Pitts is a must-take if still available in Round 4 and is worth the risk of a late Round 3 pick. Given his potential to become the TE1 for many years to come, anticipate him to be chosen in the fourth round or possibly as a mid-late third round pick.
