Arizona Diamondbacks Printable Regular Season Schedule – 2023

The 2022 Arizona Diamondbacks season marked the team’s 25th in Major League Baseball and their 25th as National League West Division participants at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ. In his sixth year with the team, Torey Lovullo was their manager. The team had a 74-88 record and placed fourth in the NL West, missing the playoffs. The club was founded on March 9, 1995, and it debuted as an expansion squad in 1998.

At Chase Field, formerly known as Bank One Stadium, the club plays its home games. The Diamondbacks are one of MLB’s newest clubs, along with the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Diamondbacks made a number of offseason additions, including future Hall of Fame pitcher Randy Johnson, who won four straight Cy Young Awards in his first four seasons with the club, after finishing sixth in their debut season.

Arizona Diamondbacks GM says ‘payroll is irrelevant’

“The payroll is irrelevant to me,” Arizona Diamondbacks’ Hazen told Arizona Sports’ Wolf & Luke. “Everybody has challenges in what they have to do to build a team. Nobody ever creates the perfect team and nobody will create the perfect team. That dynamic is irrelevant to me.

“We are in the business of finding really good baseball players and having those baseball players come together as a team. We have an equal opportunity to do that just like the other 29 teams. Yes, we have a younger team. … I think this group is really coming up together in a good way. There are multiple of them, it’s not just one or two guys. … We all want a team that’s going to be here and we can get behind, there’s at least a foundation now.”
