According To Stephen A. Smith, Stefon Diggs Wants To Leave Buffalo

The AFC East champion Buffalo Bills have had a rough offseason, and much of it is attributable to Stefon Diggs’ alleged discontent in Western New York.

According To Stephen A. Smith, Stefon Diggs Wants To Leave Buffalo

The three-time Pro Bowler “wants out” of Buffalo and “would prefer to be gone because he has lost a level of belief” in the team’s Super Bowl prospects, according to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.

“You got Stefon Diggs, this brother all-world receiver but clearly wasn’t happy, he walked out, didn’t want to talk to nobody, then he came into training camp, they had some friction they had to get settled and all of this stuff,” Smith said on Monday.

“Brother wants out,” he asserted. “I’m just telling you what I know, I’ve got my own sources. Brother wants out. He doesn’t want to be in Buffalo anymore. I have my sources, Stefon Diggs got to be there, but he would prefer to be gone because he’s lost a level of belief in the Buffalo Bills. That’s right, I said it.”

“But he’s not going to force his way out, he knows he’s got to be there and he’s got to perform, he ain’t feeling the Buffalo Bills the way he once did because he feels there’s a window of opportunity they may have missed out on. Josh Allen has got to show them that that’s not true.”

He finds it quite simple to express this. He prefaces the entire speech by stating that Diggs and the team will refute it. And that Diggs will participate in the team’s games this season.

Since the Bills’ playoff defeat to Cincinnati, when the All-Pro was seen joking about Josh Allen on the bench, Diggs’ mood has been a subject of discussion.

There is no way to disprove Stephen A. Smith in this case. The wisdom of his comments is found right there. Sure, perhaps he was informed that Diggs wants out.
