MLB Spring Training 2024: Reporting Date, Location & Schedule
Spring is back in the air after an intense baseball winter. After spending $1.2 billion in the offseason, the Los Angeles Dodgers signed Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Shohei Ohtani, the top two free agents. After missing the playoffs the previous season, the New York Yankees made a trade for slugger Juan Soto. The Baltimore Orioles, who were in the process of winning 101 games in the American League, traded for Corbin Burnes, an ace. Now how will MLB Spring Training work?
We’ll soon know how those moves and many others translate to the diamond as pitchers and catchers report. In anticipation of the 2024 season, we’ve asked MLB analysts to start spring training with the players and plotlines they’re most excited about.

MLB Spring Training Schedules 2024
On February 22, the Dodgers and Padres will play a game to begin spring training. The two, along with the White Sox and Cubs, Royals and Rangers, and Diamondbacks and Rockies, will play again the next day.
All teams will play their official games on February 24. Before Opening Day, there will be traditional spring training games interspersed with a few extra special events. On March 9–10, the Red Sox and Rays will play spring training games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Prior to the formal conclusion of spring training, there will be two regular-season games. The Dodgers and Padres will play the Seoul Series in Seoul, South Korea, on March 20–21. Their 162-game season will be determined by just two games. Those two MLB games are scheduled to take place in Korea.
Before the season officially starts on March 28, three days of exhibition games will be played by MLB teams in their home stadiums starting on March 24.
