Stephen Curry Loses His Cool During Warriors-Suns Game

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors were in Arizona on Tuesday night to play the Phoenix Suns. Devin Booker led the Warriors with 32 points, four rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one block in their 119-116 loss.

The referee sent Draymond Green on his way after he struck Jusuf Nurkic in the face with such force that it dominated the game. Only a few weeks had passed since Green’s five-game sentence for headlocking Rudy Gobert of Minnesota.

In 32 minutes of action, Curry ended with 24 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals, and an 8/24 field goal and a 4/15 three-point percentage.

The Warriors, who had been 10-13 in their previous 23 games, now sit as the 11th seed in the Western Conference after the setback.

It’s obvious that some of the players are suffering from the challenging Warriors season. Even Steph Curry, who so frequently rises to the occasion when faced with difficulty, has occasionally displayed indications of irritation.

In fact, during their most recent game, cameras saw him getting upset for a very short while.

He has had a fantastic season despite the Warriors’ difficulties. In 21 games, he is averaging 29.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.4 assists while shooting 42.2% from three-point range and 46.8% from the field.

Even though he is 35 years old and in his 15th season, he still ranks among the league’s top 10 players and has not showed any symptoms of slowing down.

Warriors supporters are used to seeing Stephen in a more composed, cool-headed manner. Thus, it’s obvious that something is wrong when he does choose to explore his temperament.

The audio leaks indicate that Steph stated anything from, “This is f**king terrible,” to very clearly calling out his teammates’ defensive mistakes by asking them, “Can we get a f**king stop?!”

After Andrew Wiggins, Kevon Looney, and Klay Thompson were benched, Draymond Green was sent off for striking Jusuf Nurkic in the face.

As he bats for the Warriors to release Curry, Kendrick Perkins offers an alternative perspective on the team’s predicament.

“Free Steph Curry!!! He don’t deserve this. Real Talk,” Perkins wrote on X.
