Bronny James got Cardiac Arrest. LeBron James and his Family Rushed to the Hospital

On Monday, Bronny James, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, required emergency medical attention after experiencing cardiac arrest. James has allegedly been discharged from the intensive care unit and his status is stable.

The medical incident reportedly happened on Monday, July 24 at about 9:30 a.m. local time when James was working out at the University of Southern California’s Galen Centre, which serves as both a practise and game venue for the school’s basketball team.

The James family’s statement was given to TMZ by a representative:

“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information.”

“LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

In his final year of high school at Sierra Canyon, James, now 18, was named a 2023 McDonald’s All-American point guard/shooting guard. This September, James will enroll at USC and join the basketball squad of the Trojans.

According to reports, Bronny chooses USC over Oregon University and Ohio State University. Of course, his father did not attend college because at the time the NBA did not allow players to enter the draft the year they graduate from high school.

Bronny James, who already has sponsorship deals with the likes of Nike and Beats By Dre, is the #1 overall most valuable NIL athlete with a reported valuation of $7.5 million, despite not having attended college yet and being “only” the 40th ranked prospect in his graduating class.

LeBron, the future Hall of Famer’s eldest son, has frequently stated his desire to play in the NBA with Bronny before retirement.

Our prayers are with Bronny as he recovers from this medical emergency, along with the rest of the James family.
