Although it’s still early, it looks like by defeating the Miami Heat in the NBA play-in round, the Atlanta Hawks have done the Boston Celtics a huge favour.

The Heat received the No. 1 seed Milwaukee Bucks in the first round after defeating the No. 10 Chicago Bulls, while the Celtics were dealt the Atlanta Hawks due to Miami’s loss to Atlanta in the No. 7 vs. No. 8 matchup.

And although Boston easily defeated Atlanta on Sunday, Miami unexpectedly defeated Milwaukee, a result that might have long-term repercussions.

Jimmy Butler figuratively posted ‘deer in headlights’ to demonstrate how he feels the Bucks are like a deer in headlights. After taking the first advantage in the best-of-seven series, a lighthearted jab.

As he has frequently in previous postseasons, Butler served as the Heat’s winning impetus. In the contest, he scored 35 points and had 11 assists.

Two significant injuries during this game unfortunately made headlines. Giannis Antetokounmpo, a player with the Bucks, departed the contest after fracturing his tailbone. He came out for a moment, but ultimately walked back to the locker room, missing the remainder of the game. Back contusion was sustained by Giannis Antetokounmpo. Fortunately, an X-ray revealed nothing, and he is doing well.

In Game 1 of their first-round series in Milwaukee, the Heat upset the Bucks 130-117, led by Jimmy Butler’s 35 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo, a superstar for the Bucks, left the game in the first quarter with a back injury after taking a hard fall, and he didn’t come back.

Although Antetokounmpo’s back X-rays were negative, his availability for Game 2 on Wednesday is now uncertain.

“We’ll monitor him and see how he does, see how he wakes up, how he feels the rest of tonight and tomorrow,” Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer said Sunday, via NBA.com. “We have to wait and see what the doctors say, most importantly what Giannis says.”
