Chicago Bulls Star Desperate to Play For LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers Amidst Trade Rumors

According to reports, Zach LaVine is looking for a trade, and many people think he has the Lakers in his sights. Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf may act as a roadblock for those prospective intentions, according to one agent, even if this transfer could end up being advantageous for both sides because Los Angeles Lakers would gain another superstar and Chicago would get rid of his enormous salary. Despite having a few exceptional players on its roster, the Chicago Bulls have not been able to establish themselves as one of the finest teams in the NBA this season. His impending exit, though, is not entirely up to him.

The Lakers must send one of their players to Chicago in order to accomplish a deal, and despite his recent strong Lakers performances, all signs point to Russell Westbrook being the one to make the return journey.

Zach LaVine to Los Angeles Lakers?

“LaVine wants to go to the Lakers, that has been pretty clear for a while now,” reporter Sean Deveney said.

“The agents want him to be in Los Angeles, as he is a UCLA guy and they did some rattling about his contract last offseason.”

With such knowledge, it could be harder to go forward with the prospective transaction today. Furthermore, it’s doubtful that Chicago would even want to buy the Los Angeles Lakers potential trade assets, given that they don’t offer anything in return.

Additionally, Chicago might not feel the need to completely let go of LaVine. According to a Western Conference official who spoke with Deveney about the matter, LaVine appeared to be wanting to be a Laker outright before this summer’s maximum contract extension. LaVine, a UCLA alumnus who underwent knee surgery of his own, has thus far been unable to regularly reclaim his previous form.
