‘America’s Team’ the Dallas Cowboys Set Another Mind-Boggling Viewership Record for the 2022 Season Against the Packers
The NFL as an organization has continued to grow from strength to strength every year and this season is no different. The league has been drawing insane viewing figures that dwarfs almost anything else on TV. Leading the front in this matter is ‘America’s Team’ the Dallas Cowboys who have once again set a viewing figure for an NFL game.

In game week two of this season, the game between the Cowboys and the Bengals drew the biggest audience at 27.2 million. This record has now been smashed by the Packers-Cowboys game that took place the past weekend, at 29.2 million average viewers on Fox. The numbers for the game puts Cowboys-Packers among the fifteen most-watched shows of the year.

However, pundits believe that this record will not be around for too long given the Cowboys take on the Vikings in the prime national window, on CBS. Four days later, Giants-Cowboys falls as the middle game of a Thanksgiving triple header, with the game being televised by Fox. Last season, the Raiders-Cowboys game on Thanksgiving had the highest regular-season audience, with 40.8 million average viewers. It is highly likely that the Dallas Cowboys will break that record this season.
A closer look at the Dallas Cowboys in 2022
The Dallas Cowboys started off their season with a loss against Tom Brady and the Bucs. Things seemed to get worse as Dak Prescott was set to miss out a few game weeks after suffering an injury during their game against the Bucs.

However, the Dallas Cowboys kept marching on and their next four games before succumbing to a loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. In their most recent outing, the Cowboys succumbed to their third loss of the season when they fell prey to Aaron Rodgers and his men.
Hey, Dallas Cowboys: The NFC East door just re-opened. Your season is still there for the taking. You're favored at Minnesota. You'll definitely be favored on Thanksgiving vs the Giants. Go win both and you'll be right back in business. Deep-playoff-run business.

Dak Prescott and his men now have a record of 6-3 and should most definitely have won the game against the Packers as well. Fans will be hoping that the Cowboys can bounce back with a win against the Minnesota Vikings this weekend.
