REPORTS: Myles Garrett Absent From the Browns Wednesday Practice After Being Involved in a Car-Crash
Myles Garrett, a defensive end with the Cleveland Browns, was hurt in a one-car collision earlier this week. This mishap left him with a strained bicep and a sprained shoulder. Despite the Porsche flipping many times, Garrett, 26, and his passenger managed to escape the single-car collision with minor injuries.
At the Browns’ training complex in Berea, Ohio, Garrett departed after practice when the accident happened. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that at 3 p.m. Garrett lost control of his 2021 Porsche in Wadsworth, Ohio.
The car veered off the road, rolled over, and then came to a stop. A female passenger who was in the car was injured, although not in a life-threatening way, and was brought to the hospital.

Myles Garrett didn’t attend Wednesday practice
Although Garrett still has time to heal before Sunday’s game, the most recent information on his condition for Week 4 isn’t very encouraging. According to Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot, Garrett won’t be in the facility on Wednesday.

Police verified that neither alcohol nor drugs were a part of the collision, although they did not completely rule out the weather. On Monday, Berea, Ohio, the site of the Browns’ practice facility, saw rain.
Last Saturday, Myles Garrett had two tackles in a 29-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sunday’s Week 4 NFL match between the Browns and Atlanta Falcons is currently unknown as to whether Garrett will be able to participate. Theoretically, Garrett could have another two days off before facing the Falcons. He could possibly be absent for a while.
