“Nobody’s Naive”: Here’s What Davante Adams Had to Say About the Situation of Las Vegas Raiders
In Week 3, Las Vegas Raiders came close to pulling off an amazing comeback against the Titans. The Raiders had a late-game opportunity to tie the game with a two-point convert after trailing the whole game.
A tip caused the two-point conversion pass to be deemed incomplete. And as a result of the botched onside kick, the Raiders’ season record now reads 0–3. There is no time for self-pity among the Silver and Black. Despite the terrible performance, this club has 14 games left to play.
After three games, they are alone in last place in the conference and have the poorest record in the division. There is no time for self-pity among the Silver and Black.

“Frustrated and angry,” said Davante Adams via SI.com.
“Expect more. It’s not easy to win in this league. We know that. Nobody’s naïve to the fact that nobody’s just going to lay down and just give you a victory, but at the end of the day we expect more and we will do better as we move forward.”

The fact that Derek Carr and Adams back together gave the Raiders hope that they might compete in the challenging AFC West. Adams, meanwhile, has been largely controlled over the last two weeks after a strong Week 1. On Sunday, the wide receiver snagged just five of his ten targets for 36 yards and a score.
Since Las Vegas Raiders has lost its three games by a combined 13 points, the Raiders’ 0-3 start has caused dissatisfaction. For Adams, feeling irritated may be advantageous if it spurs change.
