  New York Jets quarterback Mike White (ribs) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. White was downgraded to limited on Thursday after fully practicing on Wednesday. The 27-year-old suffered a setback and was ultimately ruled out for Week 18. White finishes the 2022 season with 1,192 passing yards and a 3:4 touchdown-to-interception ratio while rushing for a score over four games. Joe Flacco will start Sunday's game against Miami. Flacco operated as the Jets starter to begin the season, throwing for 902 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions over four games in 2022. The veteran quarterback is considered a borderline QB2 against the Dolphins in Week 18.

  Joe Flacco Will Start In Week 3

  New York Jets quarterback Joe Flacco will start in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to sources. Zach Wilson (knee) is progressing well, but he will not play in Week 3 under any circumstances. The Jets want Wilson to be 110 percent healthy before he returns to the field. It helps that Flacco led the Jets to an improbable comeback in Week 2 to beat the Cleveland Browns on the road. The 37-year-old has completed a league-high 63 passes on a league-high 103 attempts through the first two weeks for 616 yards, five touchdowns and only one interception. The magic is unlikely to continue against a Bengals team hungry for their first win of the season, but Flacco will still be in play as a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues with plenty of passing volume.

  The New York Jets have confirmed that they will give another start to veteran quarterback Joe Flacco. The 37-year-old went 37-of-59 for 309 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in their Week 1 loss against the Ravens. His performance appears to have been good enough to earn him at least one more opportunity, although the team seems willing to pivot to another option if he has a poor outing. The Jets will face a stout Browns defense in Week 2, meaning Flacco will likely struggle again. He is not on the radar for fantasy football this week, even in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.

Veteran Joe Flacco completed 37 of his whopping 59 pass attempts for 307 yards, a touchdown and an interception in the Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Second-year signal-caller Zach Wilson continues to rehab from a knee injury, and he's unlikely to be ready for Week 2. The Jets could very well find themselves in negative game script against the Browns this weekend, but fantasy managers can't rely on that much volume again from the 37-year-old Flacco. He'll once again check in as a low-end, desperation QB2 in superflex leagues if he makes another start.

  Joe Flacco To Start In Week 1

  New York Jets quarterback Joe Flacco will start in Week 1 on Sunday against his former team, the Baltimore Ravens, according to sources. Regular starter Zach Wilson (knee) is progressing well, but he's not quite ready to return. With Wilson not available until Week 4, the Jets will roll with the 37-year-old Flacco until then. Flacco received positive reports in training camp this summer, and he'll have an upgraded receiving corps to work with, including Elijah Moore, Corey Davis, rookie Garrett Wilson and Braxton Berrios. At best, though, Flacco will be a low-end QB2 play for those desperate in superflex leagues, and his presence under center should lower the Jets receiving weapons' fantasy ceiling early on.

  Joe Flacco Will Miss Monday’s Preseason Outing

  New York Jets quarterback Joe Flacco (rest) will be held out of Monday's preseason game against the Falcons out of an abundance of caution. With Zach Wilson (knee) already on the shelf, New York will opt to play it safe with their veteran signal caller, who is currently penciled in to start Week 1 of the regular season vs. Baltimore. No Flacco means that signal callers Mike White and Chris Streveler should see all the reps they can handle in the nationally televised contest. Despite having added motivation in playing against his former franchise, Flacco faces an uphill battle to fantasy viability by the time the regular season comes around; he has completed just 57.4% of his passes over his past two years with the Jets and is facing a stout Ravens defense. Much of N.Y.'s offense will presumably be on ice in DFS contests until Wilson can return to action.
