Jaylen Warren, T.J. Watt Active For Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Jaylen Warren (hamstring) and outside linebacker T.J. Watt (ribs) are both officially active on Sunday in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons. Warren was inactive for Monday night's win over the Indianapolis Colts, but he'll be back in there this weekend and could have a bigger role alongside Najee Harris, who suffered an oblique injury in Week 12. Benny Snell Jr., who had a large role on Monday when Harris left the game, could also be more involved against the Falcons on the ground. Watt will have his usual pass-rushing role for the Steelers in a good matchup against Atlanta, and he should be in all starting IDP lineups. The 28-year-old All-Pro has dealt with injuries in 2022, but he's a game-wrecker when he's on the field.

Jaylen Warren Practicing In Full Again
Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Jaylen Warren (hamstring) put in a second straight day of full practice on Thursday. "Doctors cleared me, I'm ready to go," Warren said on Wednesday. He sat out of the Monday night win over the Indianapolis Colts, but he's primed to return in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons. And with Najee Harris (oblique) looking iffy to play, Warren has a shot to lead Pittsburgh's backfield this weekend. The 24-year-old could lose touches to Benny Snell Jr. and Anthony McFarland Jr. if Harris is inactive, but an expanded role would give him at least RB3/flex appeal for fantasy managers against a Falcons defense that has allowed the 10th-most half-PPR points per game to opposing RBs this year.

Jaylen Warren Ready To Play
Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Jaylen Warren (hamstring) told reporters that doctors have cleared him to return and that he expects to play this week. The rookie running back missed Monday night's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts because of a hamstring injury he suffered the week before against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, his return from the injury couldn't have come at a better time for the Steelers. Najee Harris suffered an abdominal injury against the Colts and couldn't play in the second half. While he reportedly didn't suffer a severe injury, Harris' status for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons is still up in the air. If Harris can't play, Warren should get the start against a struggling Atlanta run defense.

Jaylen Warren Won't Play In Week 12
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (hamstring) has been ruled out for the Week 12 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The 24-year-old continues to deal with a lingering knee issue that will hold him out of this contest. The expectation is that Najee Harris will get a bulk of the carries on Sunday. Last week, Harris totaled massive 92% snap rate. It's likely that the Steelers mix in Benny Snell Jr. as well, but Harris is going to see plenty of snaps on Sunday. He should be a mid-range RB2 for this upcoming matchup against the Colts.

Jaylen Warren Avoids Significant Injury, Status TBD
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (knee) did not suffer a significant injury in Week 11. However, head coach Mike Tomlin mentioned that his status for next Monday's game against the Indianapolis Colts remains up in the air. The 24-year-old rookie has looked solid while backing up Najee Harris this season, totaling 327 scrimmage yards. If he can't suit up in Week 12, Benny Snell Jr. would operate as Pittsburgh's No. 2 back.

Steelers Considering Making Jaylen Warren The Lead Back?
Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Jaylen Warren has run hard and successfully in his limited opportunities behind Najee Harris in his first NFL season. Harris maintains that he's healthy after dealing with two foot injuries earlier this year, but with Warren continually impressing, head coach Mike Tomlin said the coaching staff is considering giving him more touches. "He's a quality back that's made some plays," Tomlin said. "We'll keep giving him an opportunity to do so and maybe he'll write that script." Harris isn't going to be benched in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints, but Warren is going to continue taking more touches away from him unless he steps it up. Harris is averaging just 3.3 yards per carry on 108 attempts in 2022, while Warren has averaged 5.3 yards per tote on 29 attempts. If you have Harris rostered, it's time to handcuff him with Warren if you haven't already done so.
