Packers Waive Tyler Goodson
The Green Bay Packers waived rookie running back Tyler Goodson on Tuesday, according to a source. However, the Packers would like to bring him back on the practice squad if he's not claimed off waivers. Goodson had a strong preseason, so there's a chance another team could take a crack at him. In three seasons at Iowa, the 21-year-old ran for 2,551 yards and 18 touchdowns. With Goodson out of the picture in Green Bay, it appears that Patrick Taylor has won the No. 3 job behind Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon with Kylin Hill (knee) sidelined due to injury. On 29 carries in preseason action, Goodson 107 yards and one touchdown in three games, adding eight receptions for an additional 60 yards.
