Pierce was the most dangerous weapon in a lackluster Texans offense this year and has a bright future ahead of him after finishing with 939 rushing yards and four touchdowns despite missing the final four games. He accumulated 1,026 total scrimmage yards. The fourth-rounder finished second among all rookie RBs in rushing yards behind Kenneth Walker III, and he ranked third all-time for a rookie in rushing yards in franchise history. The 22-year-old is both powerful and elusive and will be an attractive fantasy RB heading into his second NFL season. Whoever Houston hires as their next head coach will likely lean heavily on Pierce and the ground game in 2023.
