Kadarius Toney Active For Week 15

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) will suit up for the Week 15 matchup against the Houston Texans. The 23-year-old has six receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown through his first three games in KC. It's hard to imagine Toney having a huge role in this offense with JuJu Smith-Schuster and Travis Kelce being the primary targets in the receiving game. Toney does have some flex appeal, but in deep leagues where fantasy managers are desperate for a wide receiver.

Kadarius Toney Likely To Suit Up On Sunday

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is expected to return on Sunday versus the Houston Texans, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The wideout had six catches for 69 yards and a touchdown throughout his first three games in K.C. before being sidelined with a hamstring ailment. However, with Mecole Hardman (abdomen) not likely to return until Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks, Toney could see some extra attention from Patrick Mahomes. Of course, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Travis Kelce will remain the preferred targets for the signal-caller, but Toney warrants consideration as a desperation option for managers in deeper fantasy setups.

Kadarius Toney Trending Towards Playing In Week 15

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is trending towards suiting up for the Week 15 matchup against the Houston Texans. This is good news since Toney has been sidelined since Week 11 due to a lingering hamstring injury. It sounds like the 23-year-old is making solid progress and feels good about suiting up this weekend. It's uncertain what kind of role he'll have behind JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. That being said, Toney is a fairly risky streaming option for Week 15.

    Kadarius Toney Given Questionable Tag

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is listed as questionable to play in Week 15 against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Toney continues to be bothered by a balky hamstring that has bothered him since earlier in the year when he was still playing for the New York Giants. The 23-year-old has only played in three games with the Chiefs and last saw the field in Week 11 before he aggravated his hamstring. Even if he's active this weekend against Houston, he figures to have a small role in the offense behind receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Mecole Hardman (abdomen) returned to practice this week and could be activated from Injured Reserve, which would be another obstacle for Toney once he does return to game action. In his three games with KC, Toney has six catches on eight targets for 69 yards and one TD.

    Kadarius Toney Remains Limited Thursday

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. He has now logged back-to-back limited sessions. The 23-year-old has missed the last three games due to a hamstring issue. Toney will have one more chance to log a full practice to increase his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Texans. The former New York Giant has eight catches for 69 yards and a touchdown over five games in 2022. Toney is mainly an option in deep-league formats and is considered a boom-or-bust flex against Houston's defense that ranks 18th versus opposing WR3/4s in 2022.

Kadarius Toney Limited In Wednesday's Practice

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. He has missed the last three games due to a hamstring issue. The 23-year-old will have two more chances to log a full practice to increase his chances of playing Sunday against the Houston Texans. Toney has eight catches for 69 yards and a touchdown over five games in 2022. If active, Toney will compete with JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, and Travis Kelce for targets in the Chiefs' passing game.

Kadarius Toney Won't Play In Week 14

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is out for the AFC West matchup with the Broncos. This will be the wideout's third consecutive absence, last seeing the field in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Toney would have been considered a flex option for fantasy managers in deeper setups had he been available. However, now that he's out, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, and Travis Kelce will absorb the targets in Week 14.

Kadarius Toney Questionable To Face The Broncos

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable to play in Week 14 against the division-rival Denver Broncos on Sunday. Toney has missed the last two games, but he was able to practice in a limited fashion all week and has a chance to return this weekend. The former first-rounder has heaps of upside but has struggled to stay healthy in his first two NFL seasons. Even if he's active this Sunday against Denver, it's hard to recommend him for a starting lineup spot in fantasy. The 23-year-old hasn't played more than 44 percent of the offensive snaps in his three games with the Chiefs.

Kadarius Toney Puts In Another Limited Practice

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) was listed as a limited practice participant for the second straight day on Thursday. Toney has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury that has plagued him since early in the year when he was with the New York Giants. The 23-year-old is making progress, though, and has a chance to return this Sunday to face the Denver Broncos. He'll have plenty of competition for targets in the passing game if he returns this weekend, although Toney did have four catches on five targets for 57 yards and a touchdown on just 44 percent of the offensive snaps in his last full game played in Week 10. Toney's upside in KC makes him worth stashing in deeper leagues, but he'll be a very risky boom/bust WR4/flex option if he returns to action against Denver.

    Kadarius Toney Back At Practice

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) returned to practice on Wednesday. The second-year wide receiver suffered the hamstring injury in the Week 11 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. He then missed the Week 12 win against the Los Angeles Rams and last week's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Toney was playing well before getting hurt. He averaged three receptions on 3.5 targets for 34.5 receiving yards and 9.6 half-point PPR fantasy points in his first two games with the Chiefs this season. Once he is healthy, the former Florida Gator will have a chance to lock down a consistent role in the passing game alongside Travis Kelce and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Kadarius Toney Ruled Out Again In Week 13

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) has been ruled out for the Week 13 contest versus the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Toney aggravating a pre-existing hamstring injury in Week 11 and will miss his second straight game in Week 13. The 23-year-old should probably remain stashed in most fantasy leagues because of his upside in this high-octane Chiefs offense, but the former first-rounder can't seem to shake the injury bug early in his career. With the 23-year-old out again, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling should serve as the primary receivers alongside All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce. Justin Watson and rookie Skyy Moore will fight for the No. 3 receiving job.

Kadarius Toney Day-To-Day With Hamstring Injury

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney is being labeled day-to-day with his hamstring injury that has bothered him since early in the season when he was a member of the New York Giants. The second-year wideout has only appeared in four games this season after missing seven last year, so head coach Andy Reid is cautious with him. He has upside in the powerful Chiefs' offense, but expect the team to wait until he's close to 100 percent to put him back on the field. Skyy Moore and Justin Watson seem to benefit most from Toney and Mecole Hardman's absence.

    Chiefs Rule Out Kadarius Toney

The Kansas City Chiefs ruled out wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) for the Week 12 game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Toney aggravated a hamstring injury in the Week 11 win over the Los Angeles Chargers and was unable to practice at all this week. Given the 23-year-old's extensive injury history early in his NFL career, it's fair to wonder when he'll make it back for the Chiefs. The former first-rounder has plenty of upside, especially in this Chiefs offense, so he's still worth stashing in the majority of fantasy leagues. The Chiefs will be getting JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) back this weekend, so he and Marquez Valdes-Scantling should be KC's top two receivers against the Rams, with Justin Watson and rookie Skyy Moore battling for No. 3 duties with Mecole Hardman (abdomen) on Injured Reserve.

Kadarius Toney Injures Hamstring Against Chargers

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney exited Sunday night's game against the Chargers with a hamstring injury. He finished the game with no receptions. Toney was a popular waiver wire add since he was traded to KC, but it looks like his hamstring issues that plagued his time with the Giants have already popped back up. If he misses time, rookie Skyy Moore would get a boost in fantasy value.

Kadarius Toney Questionable To Return Sunday

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is questionable to return against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11. It's a frustrating development for many fantasy managers who thought Toney could have a huge week amidst injuries to JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) and Mecole Hardman (abdomen). Now, with Toney added to the injury report, the Chiefs will have to rely on Travis Kelce, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Skyy Moore in the passing game.

Kadarius Toney Fully Recovered For Week 9

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) was considered fully healthy when he was traded from the New York Giants last week. As a result, as they come out of their bye, Toney will be active for his Chiefs debut. Toney produce 39 catches for 420 yards through 10 games as a rookie last season. He projects to compete with Marquez Valdes-Scantling, ranking as a high-end WR5 in fantasy football.

Kadarius Toney Likely To Be Active In Week 9

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney is expected to be active in his first game with the team after being traded from the New York Giants. Toney was acquired last week and got to practice with the Chiefs during the bye week, so he could have had enough time to be an immediate factor. Head coach Andy Reid there are a few things planned for him if he does play, but it's hard to imagine he'll be a strong fantasy option right away. He might be used in a special red zone package, but the projected volume is worrisome until he proves to be productive in this offense. Toney also hasn't played since Week 2, so it could take time to get back to game speed.

Chiefs Say Kadarius Toney Is Healthy

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstrings) "is healthy now." Toney dealt with injuries to both of his hamstrings while with the New York Giants this year and played in just two games, catching two of three targets for zero yards and rushing twice for 23 yards. "We'll see how he fits in," Reid said. "It will be a gradual process." The 23-year-old former first-rounder has all kinds of talent, but he's rarely been healthy in his first two years in the league. Combining his talent in KC's strong offense is intriguing, but Toney must get up to speed with the team's playbook and prove that he's actually healthy before fantasy managers in single-year leagues will really want him on their rosters. And once healthy, he'll have plenty of competition for targets among JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Mecole Hardman and tight end Travis Kelce, among others.

    Chiefs Trade For Kadarius Toney

The Kansas City Chiefs acquired wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstrings) from the New York Giants on Thursday in exchange for a conditional third-round pick and a sixth-rounder in 2023, according to a source. Toney, the Giants' first-round pick in 2021, was an absolute bust with the team, playing in a total of 12 games through seven weeks of this season due to various lower-body injuries. The 23-year-old has intriguing speed, quickness and after-the-catch ability, but he just hasn't been able to stay on the field early in his career. In two games with the G-Men earlier this year, he had just two catches for zero yards and two carries for 23 yards. His skill set could be absolutely dynamic paired with quarterback Patrick Mahomes if he can ever get healthy, but he could also struggle for targets in a receiving room that includes JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Mecole Hardman. For now, Toney remains stash-worth only in extremely deep and dynasty formats.

Giants Not Considering Putting Kadarius Toney On IR

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that the team isn't considering putting wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) on Injured Reserve. Toney, who played in just 10 games in his rookie year in 2021 due to injuries, hasn't played for the Giants since Week 2. In the first two games of 2022, he was rarely on the field, too, securing just two of his three targets for zero yards while carrying the ball twice for 23 yards. The 23-year-old has been a huge disappointment in his first two NFL seasons and doesn't appear to be close to returning in Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars after missing Wednesday's practice. Toney is currently rostered in only 15 percent of Yahoo leagues.

Kadarius Toney, Kenny Golladay Will Not Practice

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) will not practice on Wednesday. Joining him was fellow wide receiver Kenny Golladay (knee). Meanwhile, backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor (concussion) was limited as he transitions into normal practice. Unfortunately, seeing Toney and Golladay's names on the injury report isn't anything new for fantasy players. The duo has missed four combined games this season and have totaled only nine targets. Neither receiver played in the Week 5 27-22 win over the Green Bay Packers. If both are out again this week, Darius Slayton, Richie James, and David Sills will see an uptick in targets.

Kadarius Toney Dealing With Injuries To Both Hamstrings

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is currently dealing with injuries to both hamstrings. According to Giants head coach Brian Daboll, the 23-year-old tweaked his other hamstring during Wednesday's practice. He recovered well from the initial hamstring injury that sidelined him for the last two weeks but tweaked his other hamstring in practice this week. The former first-round pick will not make the trip to London has been ruled out for Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers. Toney's next chance to return will be in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens. Kenny Golladay was also ruled out for the London game; the Giants will be thin at wideout with Wan'Dale Robinson (knee), Richie James (ankle), and Darius Slayton as quarterback Daniel Jones' top targets available in Week 5.

    Kadarius Toney Not Practicing Thursday

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) was held out of practice on Thursday after getting in a limited session on Wednesday. The sophomore has missed the past two games after recording two catches for zero yards and two rushing attempts for 23 yards through the first two weeks of the season. The Giants are extremely thin at the wide receiver position with Sterling Shepard (knee) out for the season, as well as Kenny Golladay (knee) and Richie James Jr. (ankle), being banged-up. There's a chance Toney can get in some work on Friday and be active against the Packers in London, but fantasy managers shouldn't insert him into their starting lineup regardless of a potentially large role in the offense.

Kadarius Toney, Wan'Dale Robinson Limited Wednesday

New York Giants wide receivers Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) were both limited in Wednesday's practice session. It looks as though the Giants receiving corps is getting healthier, although Kenny Golladay (knee) and Richie James Jr. (ankle) didn't practice. Toney has missed the last two games, while Robinson hasn't played since getting injured in his NFL debut in Week 1. There's a chance both Toney and Robinson return for the London game against the Green Bay Packers in Week 5, and there will be more opportunity with Sterling Shepard (knee) done for the year. However, it's really hard to count on any Giants receiver at this point, making Toney and Robinson merely deep-league stashes until they can prove themselves and stay healthy.

Kadarius Toney, Wan'Dale Robinson Out Again In Week 4

New York Giants wide receivers Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) have been declared out for the team's Week 4 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Both wideouts were inactive last week, as well, and were unable to practice ahead of this Sunday's contest. With Sterling Shepard (knee) out for the remainder of the season, Toney and Robinson are interesting players to stash in fantasy as the Giants are lacking reliable pass-catchers. In their absence, Richie James, Kenny Golladay, and David Sills V project to see the most targets from Daniel Jones, with James being the most appealing flex option.

Kadarius Toney, Wan'Dale Robinson Miss Practice Wednesday

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday. Wan'Dale Robinson was also absent from Wednesday's practice. Toney is "getting closer," but he will need to practice this week to have a chance to play Week 4 against the Chicago Bears. The 23-year-old could have an expanded role as the Giants recently lost wide receiver Sterling Shepard due to a torn ACL. The former first-round pick hasn't played much this season, catching just two passes for no gain over two games. Toney is competing with Richie James, David Sill, and Robinson for targets in the Giants' passing game. Fantasy managers can continue to stash Toney in deep-league formats.

Kadarius Toney, Wan'Dale Robinson "Getting Closer"

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that wide receivers Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) are "getting closer," but it sounds like they will need to make more progress this week in order to play in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears. Neither player was active for the Monday night loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and Robinson has missed the last two games. The G-Men just lost Sterling Shepard (knee) to a torn ACL as well, so they're receiving depth is already being tested early in 2022 for the second straight season. With Kenny Golladay disappearing from the game plan, Richie James and David Sills have taken on bigger roles in the passing attack the last two weeks.

    Kadarius Toney Out Against Cowboys

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and defensive end Leonard Williams (knee), who were both listed as doubtful, are officially inactive on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys. Toney has been one of the biggest disappointments so far in the early going. The 23-year-old second-year wideout played just 12 percent of the offensive snaps in the season opener and 38 percent of the snaps last week, catching two of his three targets for zero yards in two games. With rookie Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) out again as well, the Giants are expected to have David Sills and Richie James in three-wide sets alongside Sterling Shepard. Kenny Golladay played just two snaps in the Week 2 win over the Panthers. Toney is currently rostered in only 31% of Yahoo leagues.

    Kadarius Toney Downgraded to Doubtful

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is now listed as doubtful ahead of the team's Week 3 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. Toney missed practice on Saturday and is unlikely to play on Monday night. Despite the upside he flashed as a rookie, Toney is an obvious cut candidate in fantasy right now as he has not been involved in the Giants' offense to begin the season and is now dealing with a hamstring injury. He could be worth holding onto in deeper formats but is probably just clogging your bench in most redraft leagues. If Toney misses time, Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton could start to get involved for New York.

Kadarius Toney To Miss Another Practice

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) will not practice again on Saturday, according to head coach Brian Daboll. Toney took part in practice earlier in the week, but this will be his second straight missed practice, so his availability for Monday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3 isn't looking good. On top of it, the 23-year-old second-year receiver has played just 33 offensive snaps through the first two games, so fantasy managers have dumped him in a lot of leagues already. The Giants' final injury report for Week 3 should be released before long on Saturday, so we'll know soon whether Toney has a chance of playing. Even if he's active, it's hard to recommend him for a starting spot in fantasy lineups this week.

Kadarius Toney Limited At Practice On Thursday

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice on Thursday. He didn't practice on Wednesday, so the slight increase in his activity level is a good sign regarding his availability for Monday night against Dallas. With that said, the 23-year-old hasn't been productive this season, accumulating only two catches for zero yards, so there likely aren't many fantasy managers concerned about his availability.

Sterling Shepard will also sit out of practice, but it's just rep management heading into Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. Toney has been a huge disappointment through two weeks of play, catching just two of three targets for zero yards. The good news is that he played 38 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 2 after playing just 12 percent of the snaps in the season opener. Kadarius Toney Will Play In Week 2

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) will suit up for the Week 2 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. The 23-year-old was barely seen in the season opener, which was frustrating for fantasy managers. Toney only played in seven snaps and saw two touches throughout the contest. It's hard to justify starting Toney after the letdown in Week 1. Fellow wide receivers Kenny Golladay and Sterling Shepard are better targets in fantasy formats.

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is expected to be active for Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. Toney underwhelmed in last week's season opener, playing just seven snaps and registering two touches. Even with Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) sidelined, it's impossible to justify starting Toney after his Week 1 letdown. Kadarius Toney Listed As Questionable On Final Injury Report

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) has been listed as questionable on the team's final Week 2 injury report. Toney, who barely played in Week 1 but looked electric on his two rushing attempts, was a limited participant in practice on Thursday and Friday after his hamstring tightened up. His involvement in the offense going forward was unclear either way, but this is obviously not a good sign considering Toney battled injuries for the majority of his rookie season. Although Toney passes the eye test every time he has the ball, it might be best to drop him for a player with guaranteed opportunities this week if you need a fantasy starter. Even if Toney plays, he should remain out of starting lineups until he proves to have a role.

Kadarius Toney On The Week 2 Injury Report

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) was added to the injury report this week after getting in a limited practice session on Thursday. Toney dealt with lower body issues for much of training camp and in his rookie season in 2021, so this is not what his fantasy managers want to see early in the season. It's especially disappointing after he played only 12 percent of the offensive snaps and didn't see a single target in the Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans. He carried the ball twice for 23 yards. If the 23-year-old plays this Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, he could see a bigger role with rookie Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) iffy to play, but it's hard to recommend him as a flex play after his Week 1 performance, outside of deeper leagues.

    Kadarius Toney Looks Fully Healthy

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (leg) is practicing with the team on Wednesday and looks 100 percent healthy. Head coach Brian Daboll said on Monday that he's "hopeful" that Toney will be ready for the Week 1 regular season opener on Sept. 11 against the Tennessee Titans. The 23-year-old has been battling through a right leg injury, and he's also coming off offseason knee surgery. The former first-rounder has the most long-term upside of any Giants receiver, but injuries early in his career have caused fantasy managers to be cautious. When healthy, he'll start in three-receiver sets alongside Kenny Golladay and rookie Wan'Dale Robinson. Consider Toney a WR4/flex with upside in upcoming fantasy drafts.

Kadarius Toney Suits Up For Drills, Remains Limited

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) was able to put on pads and perform individual drills during Wednesday's practice, but he appears to still be limited by the hamstring injury that has slowed him this summer. Toney is on track to be a major cog in the Giants' offense during his second year, having hauled in 39 catches for 420 yards over 10 games as a rookie. Kenny Golladay is likely to be N.Y.'s No. 1 pass-catching target, but signal caller Daniel Jones has yet to develop a consistent rapport with Golladay. Toney's final opportunity to suit up during the preseason comes Sunday vs. the Jets, but New York is unlikely to thrust him onto the field barring a drastic change of comfort. The Giants open the regular season at Tennessee on Sept. 11.
