Lions Waive Jermar Jefferson
The Lions have waived running back Jermar Jefferson. The 2021 seventh-round pick appeared in seven games for Detroit last season, finishing with 74 yards and two touchdowns off 15 carries. Jefferson wasn't expected to contribute much on the fantasy end this year with D'Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams holding things down in the backfield, so the move isn't anticipated to impact anyone outside of dynasty formats. At the same time, there's a chance he may pop up elsewhere throughout the 2022-23 campaign, although his fantasy stock won't rise unless he ascends a depth chart for a new team.
