Ronnie Rivers Elevated From Practice Squad
Los Angeles Rams running back Ronnie Rivers was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday. He is expected to be active for Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers. Rivers made his pro debut in Week 6, catching one pass for 14 yards. He is a candidate to see more volume with Cam Akers (personal) sidelined but will still have to compete with Darrell Henderson and Malcolm Brown for the time being. The eventual return of Kyren Williams (ankle) will complicate things even further as the season goes on.

Los Angeles Rams running back Ronnie Rivers has been elevated to the active roster from the practice squad ahead of the team's Week 6 matchup with the Carolina Panthers. The rookie out of Fresno State may see his first regular season NFL action with Cam Akers (personal) inactive and Kyren Williams (ankle) on Injured Reserve. Darrell Henderson Jr. is expected to get the start with Malcolm Brown also handling a backup role. Rivers is not currently on the fantasy radar, but could be a name to remember if Akers remains uninvolved going forward.
