Brevin Jordan Will Sit Again In Week 5
Houston Texans tight end Brevin Jordan (ankle) will miss yet another game in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Texans released Pharaoh Brown earlier this week, so O.J. Howard and Jordan Akins will continue to split playing time at the position for the Texans this weekend against the Jaguars. In last week's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, Howard caught two of five targets for 27 yards, while Akins caught both of his targets for just 33 yards. Neither tight end is particularly attractive as a TE2 streamer in this mediocre Texans offense. Jordan hasn't played since Week 2 and had only three catches on six targets for eight yards in two games on the season.

Brevin Jordan Not Practicing Thursday
Houston Texans tight end Brevin Jordan (ankle) is not practicing on Thursday. He hasn't practiced since tweaking his ankle in Week 2. The 22-year-old is considered day-to-day and will have one more chance to practice this week. Jordan has three catches for eight yards over two games. O.J. Howard and Jordan Akins will be the Texans' top two tight ends if Jordan is ruled out in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Howard or Akins are deep-league fliers at best if Jordan misses another week.

Brevin Jordan Misses Another Practice
Houston Texans tight end Brevin Jordan (ankle) missed his second straight practice of the week on Thursday. It appears that Jordan is heading for his second straight missed game in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers if he's unable to return to the practice field on Friday. With Jordan inactive in last week's loss to the Chicago Bears, Jordan Akins and Pharaoh Brown both caught three passes on four targets for 31 yards, but Akins was the one that found the end zone. If Jordan misses another game, expect Akins, Brown and O.J. Howard to continue splitting tight end reps on game day against the Bolts. With so many bodies involved at the position in Houston, it's best to look elsewhere in fantasy.

Brevin Jordan To Miss Week 3
Houston Texans tight end Brevin Jordan (ankle) has been ruled out for the team's Week 3 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Jordan was questionable with an ankle injury heading into Week 2 but was able to play through it. He has not practiced since and will be sidelined as O.J. Howard is likely to draw the start. Although Jordan out-snapped Howard in both games this season, he has been a non-factor for fantasy football. Howard becomes a deep-league desperation play in Jordan's absence, but both tight ends should likely be left on waivers.

Brevin Jordan Officially Active Sunday
Houston Texans tight end Brevin Jordan (ankle) is officially active for Week 2 against the Denver Broncos. He had been listed as questionable after a pair of limited practices on Wednesday and Friday. (He was a non-participant on Thursday.) The second-year player out of Florida is the No. 1 tight end in the Houston offense, but he finished second to teammate O.J. Howard in receptions, yards, and touchdowns last week. Without more clarity on their respective roles, both tight ends should be left on waivers in fantasy football.

Brevin Jordan Officially Questionable For Week 2
Houston Texans tight end Brevin Jordan (ankle) is officially listed as questionable to play in Week 2 against the Denver Broncos on the road. Jordan was limited on Wednesday and Friday and took a DNP on Thursday. The 22-year-old played 60 percent of the offensive snaps and caught just one of two targets for a five-yard gain in the Week 1 tie with the Indianapolis Colts. Meanwhile, O.J. Howard played just 17 percent of the snaps, but he caught both of his targets for 38 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan should be the team's primary tight end if he's active, but the presence of Howard and Pharaoh Brown severely limits his fantasy potential for a lackluster Texans offense. If Jordan sits out on Sunday, Howard will become more attractive as a TE2 streamer in deeper leagues.

Brevin Jordan Expected To Play In Week 2
Houston Texans offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton said he thinks tight end Brevin Jordan (ankle) will be able to play on Sunday in the Week 2 contest against the Denver Broncos on the road. Jordan popped up on the injured report on Wednesday and was limited in practice with his ankle issue. He played 42 of the team's 70 offensive snaps in the Week 1 tie with the Indianapolis Colts, catching only one pass for five yards on his two targets in the game. O.J. Howard out-shined him, catching both of his targets for 38 yards and two touchdowns, but Howard only played 12 snaps. Pharaoh Brown also played 46 snaps. The 22-year-old Jordan should remain Houston's primary tight end when healthy, but the presence of Howard and Brown make it impossible to trust Jordan in starting fantasy lineups.

Brevin Jordan Limited In Wednesday's Practice
Houston Texans tight end Brevin Jordan (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. He caught one of two targets for five yards during the Week 1 tie with the Indianapolis Colts. The 22-year-old was second among all Houston's tight ends with 42 snaps. Pharaoh Brown led the team with 46 snaps while O.J. Howard only had 12 snaps but caught two touchdowns. With Howard being the quarterback Davis Mills' top red zone target, Jordan is not on the fantasy radar and can be left on the waiver wire in most leagues.
