Antoine Winfield Ruled Out Against Ravens
Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Antoine Winfield (concussion) and cornerbacks Sean Murphy-Bunting (quadriceps) and Carlton Davis (hip) have been ruled out for Thursday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens. Tampa's secondary enters this game pretty vulnerable, which is good news for Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and the team's deep passing attack. With Winfield ruled out after suffering a concussion in the Week 7 loss to the Carolina Panthers, the Buccaneers will be asking Keanu Neal and Nolan Turner to step up at the safety position. Fantasy managers in IDP leagues will need to find another option at the defensive back spot with Winfield sidelined this week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said that safety Antoine Winfield (concussion) is likely to be out for Thursday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens since he's in the concussion protocol on Monday. Winfield went down with a head injury in Sunday's surprising loss to the Carolina Panthers and was unable to return. With the quick turnaround in Week 8, fantasy managers in IDP leagues need to be looking for a new starting defensive back for the week. With the 24-year-old likely sidelined, Nolan Turner and Keanu Neal will be asked to step up for Tampa's secondary against the Ravens. Winfield currently ranks tied for sixth among DBs in IDP scoring with 39 tackles (34 solo), five tackles for loss, three sacks, one interception and a forced fumble in seven games played.
